Running smart device app on Linux.

Post by amc252 »

Hello,

this might be a silly question, but there it goes.
Is there a way to run a smart device free app (such as Roland free piano app) on a Linux system?

Thanks.

Is that Roland app made to run on Android? If so, you could try Waydroid or something listed here. (I haven't tried any of them, so I don't know how reliable they are.)

Thanks for the pointer, seems promising.
The free app is supposed to run on IOS or Android. I haven't tried it because I don't have a Roland piano (yet).
I was curious 'cause the app should provide some extra piano sounds.
I suppose Korg, Yamaha, etc. have similar apps too.
