In this song I used a new approach for the sound design and production.

👍
I like the guidance in harmonies, and i'm a fan of open endings.
From the production side, there are a few moments where vocals sink into the music too much, but that's a personal thing.

What is your new approach, and what's the difference to your previous one?

Fiddling with sequencers does not evolve into music necessarily and Mac users have smelly feet and guzzle little children.

Very good song and production. I particularly like the way you vary the reverb depth to bring the voice forward in some places.

@erlkönig There are more but these are the main differences:

  1. The main pad is made directly with my voice and not with a synth
  2. Drum are made by Akai Force used as drum machine
  3. Bass is a double bass really played
  4. Attempt to have "depth variations" and a bigger spatial stereo image turning off-on some reverbs
  5. Mixed almost fully in mono
  6. Usage of TC Clarence for the mastering step
  7. Employed an extremely reduced number of plugins

I like the song. You break the rule that the lead vocals should be in the middle instead of doubled left and right. But who says that you may not break the rules?

@bluebell Yeah! exactly...I used the M/S process and a delay of 1/4 on the Left and 1/8 on the right has done the rest (only wet)
