The sample mp3 files have some noise on the left channel, e.g. the Bösendorfer sample:

@sofia-m

I just want say a HUGE thank you for your generosity of time, effort and talent to do this and share it free. I've done enough sampling to know that it is an incredible amount of work to set up, record, edit and arrange even one of these classic pianos and to have done several is simply remarkable so THANK YOU!!

By the way, I'd like to add a section of users recordings to my webpage.

Thanks so much for these pianos they are all very good. I've already downloaded all the beta versions and wonder if the version 2 SFZs can be downloaded separately to avoid having to download all the samples again (unless that should be done since if you updated the samples). Thanks.

The newer ZIPs have a few corrections. I adjusted the volume on some samples, optimized others.
The SFZ are identical to the 2.0 BETA, except for a line where the cutoff value was missing:

Code: Select all

<region> sample=PU-C1-20.wav key=24 lokey=21 lovel=16 hivel=20 fil_type=lpf_1p volume=-1.5

If you don't want to download the whole thing again, you can simply amend your SFZs.

Hi @sofia-m! I've been reading your updates for a while. I finally downloaded the 1.0 versions of these last week. What are the new features in 2.0? From what I can tell, the simulated half pedal and simulated incremental soft pedal are new. Are the samples mostly the same, with updates to the size files?

Thanks a lot. The sfz-files have still 2.0-BETA in their filename. Is this intended?

They are essentially the same SFZs (with a correction) but NO, it wasn't intended! Oversight on my part, and thank you for pointing that out. Since I'm working on the 2.1 release, I'll fix the naming when I pack the newer ZIPs.

2.0 is very different from 1.0,: pedal down samples, more comprehensive SFZs, fixes. You'll find detailed information in the release posts and the README file.
