I have updated XUiDesigner. On Windows in Reaper there are hardly any hanging notes left now when using my own plugin, but I can still systematically create hanging notes in Reaper with Xmonk by opening the larger keyboard by clicking on the very small keyboard on the GUI, and then clicking on a key of the larger keyboard with the mouse and releasing the mouse only after leaving the area of the larger keyboard.

Yes, I haven't updated libxputty in Xmonk and Fluida for now. Will do that soon.

On the road again.

Yes - that would be very interesting, as the hanging notes are highly reproducible in Xmonk.

So, Xmonk is updated now to latest libxputty. This included now as well support for Hdpi on Linux and Windows.
Still need to update XUiDesigner to reflect Hdpi support.

On the road again.

Can I already test Xmonk on Windows now to see if the hanging notes are gone?

Sure, just update the checkou and rebuild
(remember the git submodule update thing)
same is true for Fluida, it uses as well the latest libxputty now.

On the road again.

Xmonk is much better now in Reaper on Windows. With normal playing with the mouse there are no more hanging notes. Only with super (= unrealistically) fast playing with the mouse one can still generate some hanging notes. But one cannot even "play" that fast with a hardware keyboard, so no problem.
