Au Revoir Simone - Move in Spectrums

While enjoying a shot of Coumarin and laying the basis for a possible successor to udev-rtirq.

The Most Serene Republic - Population

Edit: forgot about how good this album actually is. With titles like "Solipsism Millionaires" you can't go wrong anyway.

Fiddling with sequencers does not evolve into music necessarily and Mac users have smelly feet and guzzle little children.

Watching 'Muscle-Shoals', a documentary about the famous deep south studio, and the music that was recorded there.
Watching on Tubi, a free net TV station, with short commercials at times. Simple registration/login.

There is also a documentary about 'The Band', called 'The Last Waltz'.

Romy - Mid Air album
I'm not a big listener of this dance/EDM/R&B kind of stuff but I love this album. Production is highest order and her vocals are divine.

The Real Thing - You To Me Are Everything.

Or Tavaras - heaven must be missing an angel ?

She does have a great voice.

Old disco has become nu-disco now.
@Gps yeah for sure.
The keyboard line in that Romy track is almost straight from Tavares.
Tavares - Heaven Must Be Missing An Angel (1976) [REMASTERED HD] • TopPop

Every Satin Jackets song ever for instance:
Satin Jackets - You Make Me Feel Good (Original Mix)
they just released a new one:
Satin Jackets & Kimchii - Let Love Surround You (Official Video)

I like Satin Jackets a lot. Good sounds, good vibes.

Damn it, now you got me listening to good time disco/soul tracks all afternoon!

Sure, blame the dutch guy.

I had never heard of Satin Jackets, but found some kind of wiki.

https://en.everybodywiki.com/Satin_Jackets

Tim Bernhardt's musical career began in the late 1990s.[1] under various pseudonyms and in bands such as Headphonism, and Metrosoul[2]. His first success came with the band Lorenzo, founded with Joachim Schäfer in Dortmund, and later joined by Linda Mathews[3]. The style of the band was Deep house and Minimal techno[4]. The band separated in 2006.

Tim Bernhardt returned in 2011 with Satin Jackets. The project has been intended as a way to explore his attraction to disco and his admiration for artists such as Nile Rodgers from the group Chic or Trevor Horn[5]. His music production takes place in his studio, located in a sparsely populated forest in Germany.[5]

There is that name again, Nile Rodgers.

Trevor Horn I had to google, and to name two tracks, video killed the radio start, and Malcom McLaren - Buffalo Gals.
(that scratching is making me itch)

Malcom McLaren - Buffalo Gals , with that weird stereo. were there is a left and right channel which are quit different.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HCBN7ly ... cLarenVEVO
Memories, the rock steady crew, of which one member broke his neck break dancing.

Now listening to a disco, mix.

That calls for some fun facts. :D
Trevor Horn is a well-known producer including work with ABC, Frankie Goes to Hollywood, Art of Noise, Seal, Tina Turner, Paul McCartney, Tom Jones, Cher, Simple Minds, Belle and Sebastian, Pet Shop Boys, Robbie Williams and Yes. His bandmate from The Buggles. Geoff Downe, previously played with Yes and was a member of supergroup Asia. They both played on the recent Yes album "Fly From Here", produced by Horn.
Malcom McLaren of course was also the infamous flamboyant manager of the Sex Pistols.
