I use the Ample Metal Ray5 II virtual bass plugin.
Unfortunately it plays every note one octave lower. If I put a D3 note to the MIDI channel in ardour the plugin plays a D2 note. This is very stupid because it's not possible to use any normal bass track from guitar pro tabs. Every note lower than the 5. fret on E string can't be played by the plugin because it transforms it to one octave lower and the lowest note on the bass is E1 (ob B1 on 5 string basses). #
How can I make it play the original note?
Ample Metal Ray5 II Bass plugin shifts one octave lower
