Visual efects for music videos
Did not test, but looks interestesting. At leasti in the videos which are on that page, some videos have real video clips processed with that.
For earlier discussions about such tools, see also viewtopic.php?t=17261

Re: Visual efects for music videos
Code: Select all
lebiniou -i jackaudio
It's not possible to export the Video/Audio stream, but for this screenrecorder can be used.

Re: Visual efects for music videos
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
lebiniou : Depends: lebiniou-data (>= 3.27) but it is not going to be installed
E: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages.
Edit: actually, package is in normal ubuntu repo, and adding that ppa does not work
Edit2: and using it starts with bug report https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+sour ... ug/1806216

Re: Visual efects for music videos
I tried to create own data dir, with own images, but no luck this far with images. Trying to find out this from #biniou@freenode irc.lilith wrote: Now I have to figure out how to use own pictures, etc.

Ok, this is how it goes:tavasti wrote:I tried to create own data dir, with own images, but no luck this far with images. Trying to find out this from #biniou@freenode irc.lilith wrote: Now I have to figure out how to use own pictures, etc.
It's not possible to export the Video/Audio stream, but for this screenrecorder can be used.
* Make directory ~/.lebiniou/images/dir
* Put there png images which do not have any comments, for example make them with: convert -strip pic1.jpg ~/.lebiniou/images/dir/pic1.png
* start lebiniou like: lebiniou -i jackaudio -t ~dir
Note ~ in front of directory name. Now next thing is to make sequeces which match to own needs.

Re: Visual efects for music videos
First was run with random sequences, and in fact there was short timers to sequences, colormaps and pictures. Here I crafted patches by hand, only few plugins. Lebiniou was randomly selecting seq, image and colormap.lilith wrote:Much better than the previous one, cause there's much more visible from the pictures.tavasti wrote:Another https://youtu.be/1KrlvWzWVdk

Re: Visual efects for music videos
To use audio file as input and let biniou do the whole job.
Step 1: Point LEBINIOU_SNDFILE to the soundfile you want to use
Code: Select all
export LEBINIOU_SNDFILE=/path/to/wav
Code: Select all
lebiniou -i sndfile -o mp4 (or just mp4)
Code: Select all
ffmpeg -i ~/.lebiniou/videos/the.mp4 -i /path/to/wav output.mp4

Re: Visual efects for music videos
Using a screenrecorder like simplescreenrecorder for recording Video and Audio. The advantage is that adjustments can be directly made by hand according to the music.
