I design equipment for vibration testing, which are essentially big loudspeakers.
(I use audio codecs on a Linux based system, that I got stuck with writing drivers for).

Hi Bob! You may not be a musician, but with enough audio processing on those vibrations, you could probably make an ambient track good enough to fool some of us.

Welcome!
That's interesting! I work in Acoustics, headphone design. Do you have any good sources about designing that kind of equipment that you could share? Also, do you use open source scientific software for that at all? I ask because I was thinking I might start a series on open source acoustic modelling on my blog, and it would be nice to know if someone else does something similar, and if so how.ShakingBob wrote:I design equipment for vibration testing, which are essentially big loudspeakers.
