I vote plugins, effects, and instruments. I think it will be a good idea to put explicitly from the outset whether you consider wine/airwave a viable solution. Same for proprietary plugins. Personally I'd like to hear about them all, but know which are which.

Yeah I agree with that. Get every detail out on the table.
I'm cool with airwave once I get some help from Luc to see if the vstsi have will work. The vst360 site is now 404 as I tried to reinstall airwave though.
