Hi rghvdberg,
Can you expand on which Behringer Mixer you have? They have quite a line of XENYX mixers.
There is one Line that ends with XENYX ####USB, this smells like USB1.1(not USB2 compliant, no 16bit only, etc).
You mention a Behringer XENYX 1204FX, this looks like a model with no usb.
There does appear a XENYX UFX##### line that touts firewire and usb, doing lots of channels, 24bit sound, etc. It's more pricy($400 and up).
Is that what you have? So I'm guessing that might be USB2.x compliant and might actually work with linux(if you felt lucky that day, maybe..
Is there an audio interface that I can use also as mixer?

Hello! I've finally bought the Soundcraft Signature 12MTK, and IT IS CLASS COMPLIANT.
It works on Linux like a charm!

Glad you found the mixer you want.
Just wanted to report that my xenyx x1622 usb worked great with linux using the usb. Now, I use it with my behringer firewire fca 202, since it is not as limited as the usb connection. The usb was limited to 16bit. You can directly hook it up to the soundcard if you wish , as well. It sounds great, imho, even with my 4 very cheap computer speakers.
