Completing the symphony

Post by j_e_f_f_g »

I've done most all of the major sections of the symphony. We're getting close to having a second, open-source alternative to Sonatina. (And this alternative is especially useful since I create my sections from mixing/blending individual close-miked instruments, thereby replicating a dry, close-miked orchestra. Sonatina is a far-miked orchestra with ambience. They sound very different).

But I still need some more individual instrument samples to create the remaining sections. Here are the instruments I need.

French horn
English horn
Piccolo
Tuba
Harp

If you have access to any of the above instruments, and can record some samples for me, leave a note here. Hopefully, we can finish this symphony in sfz.

I prefer adding some room by myself, so a near miked orchestra would be fine.
