Circle2

Post by werock »

According to its entry at KVR, Circle2 is available for LInux

http://www.kvraudio.com/product/circle- ... rkshop-faw

However the download link just leads to the usual Windows/Mac downloads.

Anyone know where to get the Linux download? It's always intrigued since it was released and would be nice to try. I also saw it listed by Dave Philips on his list of Linux VST synths, http://linux-sound.org/linux-vst-plugins.html so I assume it's not a mistake

I don't see any mention of linux there? Haven't heard of it before, certainly would be an interesting find if it were available in linux.

According the website there's no linux plugin, only "pc" (windows) and mac.

If you search kvrdatabase, there are linux vst plugins that don't even exist, looks like circle is one the 'ghost' plugins.
However, i see that it uses the juce framework so porting to linux would be very easy, so there's hope :)

It was definitely listed for Linux earlier, looks like they've updated the page since I posted!

Oh well, guess I'll have to keep waiting for this one. :(

I wrote to the company, got a nice response, but yes, they screwed up the announcement. At this time there's no Linux version planned.

That's a shame, but thanks for the info.
