Just found a bunch of plugins that have recently been ported to Linux:
http://www.gvst.co.uk/downloads.htm
I haven't tried them yet (got some computer problems to overcome!), but they look like a fairly comprehensive package, similar to the MDA plugins, including a couple of monosynths).
Linux downloads are on this page, note they are still beta:

Re: GVST plugins
That's great news. I used to use these when I was on Windows, most are fairly basic but there are a couple of unusual and good sounding gems amongst them.
Re: GVST plugins
I used GSnap once before I really knew how to do anything with audio (I wanted to play with autotuning). Its great that these were ported.

Re: GVST plugins
the mono bass plugin is something ive been looking for.
Havnt found one anywhere else but being able to mono the sub frequencies is very handy, particularly on the master bus.

Re: GVST plugins
I really like these plugins now, been playing with them a fair bit lately and the compressors are very nice.
