Announcing LibreMusicProduction.com
Hey everyone!
It's our great pleasure to announce Libre Music Production (http://www.libremusicproduction.com). Libre Music Production (LMP) is a web portal and resource aimed at helping you make music using free and open source software. While the portal was initially developed by a small group of people, the aim and ambition is that LMP becomes a community project where we all help out in building a great resource for making music using FLOSS software. At launch we have over 10k words worth of articles and guides, as well as a little over 2 hours of recorded video material.
We've prepared a press release that details more about this project at: http://libremusicproduction.com/pressrelease
We'd greatly appreciate any help in spreading the word about this resource, as well as any help with contributing content and so on. Please feel free to copy+paste the press release as you'd like, and thank you very much for any help!
Any other feedback is also greatly appreciated. Please use the contact forms on the website

Is LibreMusicProduction on Twitter? Might be nice. Good luck.
Re: Announcing LibreMusicProduction.com
Not yet but we are planning on having a social media presence. We wanted to concentrate on getting LMP up and running first. If you subscribe to our newsletter (front page), you'll be notified of any such news.studio32 wrote:Is LibreMusicProduction on Twitter? Might be nice. Good luck.
Re: Announcing LibreMusicProduction.com
Thank you all We're really psyched about this, and we've already got quite a few people interested in contributing content. Awesome, just like we hoped! Lets make this portal great together!
Well, we haven't really thought about that or discussed that. Do you think there's interest for non-english articles, or translating articles that're already there?apathity wrote:Is there any multi-language articles planned?
That'd be really nice! Maybe mix up some modular workflow up there as well?! Looking forward to it!falktx wrote:I'll try to write a simple "Carla workflow" article for it.

Amazing. The stuff that I just dipped into looked very clear, very comprehensive and very well presented. Right from the start this is going to be a very valuable resource for anybody doing anything audio with Linux.
