Greetings all,
Recently, I was asked to transpose a trombone score. However, I can't find any such option (for transposition, that is...) in MuseScore or NtED.
Might there be any such application in Rosegarden? And if yes, which dependencies will have to be downloaded to make Rosegarden work properly?
Another thing puzzling me a little, as to MuseScore & NtED, is that piano seems to be the default instrument - and the only one available to boot. Am I overlooking something here?

Re: transposing music
There definitely is (it even goes to some extra trouble to make sure it selects the right note+accidental for enharmonically equivalent notes).tnob wrote:Might there be any such application in Rosegarden?
Which distribution are you using? It's highly recommended to let your distributions' dependency management take care of all that for you.tnob wrote:And if yes, which dependencies will have to be downloaded to make Rosegarden work properly?
Re: transposing music
Of course there is a feature to transpose in MuseScore. http://musescore.org/en/handbook/transposition
You can :
or
- Right click a staff -> staff properties -> Change instrument
