Folkpop and other experiments from Chile and Mexico

Post by aliciapaz »

Hi everyone
I'm Alicia Paz, music composer from Chile currently based in Mexico City. I've been using Linux (AV Linux MX Edition) and Ardour for some time now.
I occasionally upload my demos-experiments-home recordings to my Soundcloud account:
https://soundcloud.com/annarresti

Some of them are exercises made with educational purposes. I'd love to hear your opinions :)

The ska 'Lxs frágiles después' is great fun. Nice to hear some horns. We had a strong ska scene here when my kids were teens, hope it comes back and stays alive! It's a pretty cheery genre. Music can make us oldsters feel younger 8) You might enjoy the ProteusVX plugin, if you get wine, Reaper, and yabridge plugin wrapper installed. It's a free software version of the e-mu Proteus 2000 sound module, runs around 75 meg, but has a great collection of instruments.
Cheers
