This is what's happening now with previous sessions. New ones work as testing by starting a fake session to see if any errors

It launches but hitting play does nothing.

Nothing has changed except the script you gave but that seems to be ok with Ardour and Reaper and H2.

Did you check the audio settings in mixbus? Looks like those have been changed for some reason.

Sorry I forgot to explain my stupidity there. For some reason which I've never ever used mixbus32C in that manner but for some reason it had the synchronization button on. That took care of things but I can't seem to get the launcher for it into plank. I'm trying to figure out right now how to get plank to launch it with that latency setting.
