New Member from Virginia

Hello, my name is Mike, and obviously per the title above, I'm new here.
I have been a musician for over 40 years.
I started on guitar, and played my local bar and club scene for around 20 years.
For the last 18 or so I have been a musician in my local church, and for about 8 years or more I have been the Song Leader and piano player there. I also sit in with guitar or bass when the need arises.
I've been dabbling in home recording since 2004, with budget gear. I just switched to Ubuntu a few months ago, and am in process of setting up my studio once again. It fell into disuse because I am also an avid hand tool woodworker and instrument builder. Most of the instruments I use are ones I have built with my own hands.
