Possible to receive partial or full message text in notifications?

When I receive email notifications of messages, is it possible to have LM send partial or full text of the messages?
Currently I receive notification of the topic title, but not any text from the message.
It might help me sort through them all, from within my email client.
Also, this might be a big request, but is it possible to actually reply to the messages via my email, similar to say, github notifications?
These features might save from having to open a browser each time to check what the actual messages are.

I have no idea - if anyone does research on which plugins look safe/reliable and provide this do let me know

I forgot that I previously thought of a good reason why it is done the current way:
Text in email notifications quickly becomes stale, and notifications of every edit would be too much.
Better to read it on the site to get the latest edits.
