In light of recent events (see reddit blackout), I just wanted to send a message that I am really thankful for this site!
Even though I am not that active, I find this site to be a really high quality resource for Linux Audio and I hope we can keep it going for a long time!
The reddit blackout has (once again) put the finger on the fact that free services from big companies are played by their rules and exist only as long as it serves the providers interest. We grassroots are not part of the equation.
And in light of that... I'm not really up to date on how this site is being run. What costs and resource needs are there, what can we help with to keep it running? I guess I could have googled around for that info but in the interest of sparking discussion I ask here.
