Hi,
if I merge two parts of a mono audio clip, I get a stereo audio clip. I'd like my clips to stay mono - am I doing something wrong, or is that a bug?
Steps to reproduce: Select two parts (audio, mono) , select clip - merge, the clips are then merged together, but it's a stereo clip afterwards.
Cheers,
Andreas

Re: QTractor merge mono audio clips
the number of channels of an audio clip merge (or clip/track export for that matter) depends exactly and only on the same number of channels the output bus the track is assigned; so if you want to merge/export to mono, then please assign the track to a mono audio output bus, even if just temporarily for the task at hand.
not a bug, it's just the way it works and been like so since day one
cheers
