Hello from the US Midwest
Long time linux user who is finally getting serious about making music on a professional level using Linux as the platform. I have decided to remove the mac (and logic) crutch and dive deep into ardour and all the amazing utilities, plugins, and programs available for linux. I use kxstudio over ubuntu 20.04, for those who are curious, and play bass, guitar, keyboard, saxophone, mandolin, bodhran, and irish bouzouki.

Welcome here. That's quite a range of very different instruments!

Welcome to the forum! I have a similar setup, except using Mint as the base platform. I highly recommend familiarizing yourself with the Ardour manual, which flattens the learning curve quite a bit. https://manual.ardour.org/toc/
I'm curious to hear all of these instruments in a single song. Trying to imagine what that would sound like ...
