I want to apply effects of Guitarix to TuxGuitar by means of QjackCtl, but QjackCtl doesn't see TuxGuitar.
I am using Jack2.
What am I doing wrong?

Do you have the tuxguitar-jack package installed? There are separate tuxguitar packages for alsa, oss, jsa, and fluidsynth playback. See https://packages.ubuntu.com/search?keywords=tuxguitar, for instance.

Glad you got it working! Tuxguitar sound output is a bit temperamental in my experience, and I have one system that I never got it working on and finally gave up.
Happy TABbing!
