Not really my business, but this track has its moments. It sounds a little bit too much like typical midi instruments to my ears but it is really composed well!! With other instruments / sounds (e.g. some U-he stuff, DIVA, etc.) and maybe some orchestral percussion sounds I could imagine that this could be much much more impressive and a really great track. Reminds me on movie scores too.

Short:
Sounds 3/10
Composition 10/10

:D

I agree; the composition is better than the sound. There is some nice counterpoint in the last 1:30 or so of the piece. The end is a bit abrupt, however, and the chord progression doesn't always feel natural. That's a matter of taste.

What is that interesting building with the onion bulb towers? That's pretty cool. It looks like a toned-down version of St. Basil's Cathedral in Moscow.

lilith, Milo, thank you so match, dears!

You rights, sounds no good, it's shame for me :) After so many years in music  Heh... These are the consequences of the disaster with the KXStudio distribution... You know, there are full apocaliptica :| I use repositories which plug in KX Studio, and usally use Linuxsampler with Qsampler, that access allow worked with SFZ-instruments. Sonatina orchestra, others, also GIG-format, etc. Its serios sound, if right tuning. But all craches! :!: Carla + SFZ don't work on my system, no time detected why. Good. I buy hardware module, Roland, vintage early 2000... Synthetic patches sounded excellent, but orchestral instruments - very poor, yes, like midi on SB-Live! :D Tears! With this toys I recorded this composition. Next work may be sounded better, I expand sound module by Orchestra Expansion Card, violins sing cool

Milo, St. Basil's Cathedral is arch-masterpiece, but this multi-head church like Wood-temple Complex - KIZHI in Karelia, at Onezhskoe lake. See https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ubcBHSl7gaU Near Petersburg there are ethno-park "Bogoslovka", on my video - Pokrovskiy temple. And other woodish buildings - Bell-Tower, chantry, farm house, gates.

Cheers!

Cool video! I especially liked the part where he showed how the wood structures were built. Those were amazing craftsmen, and it is amazing that the buildings have stood for so long! Thanks for sharing.
