Re: The Golden Bottom
Seems a long time I haven't spent time listening to pieces posted here.
The classical guitar at the beginning, until the drums, is very nice. The chords, the playing, the sound. OTOH, I find the synth flute distracting. There should be more place for the guitar. Not more guitar notes, just more place.
The second part comes as a 'surprise', although after a while it becomes very good on its own. The lyricism of the guitar is quite nice. Although the transitions between parts are a bit rough I find. It's almost as if the second part could be a piece on its own, maybe like a sequel to the other part, but in different pieces, not merged together.
Pretty good music.
Cheers.

Re: The Golden Bottom
Really nice! While I agree that the choice of sounds may be improved (it sounds like the background classical guitar is MIDI too?), I enjoyed the music. The beginning reminded me of some of the quieter Rondo Veneziano tracks, while the guitar part brought Gary Moore to mind, maybe because it has a certain "Parisienne Walkways" feel to it. All in all, beautiful track and, as usual, amazing choice of picture to accompany it!

This is a nice mini-rhapsody, with quite a spread of emotion between the lighter and heavier parts. Your guitar work is always interesting. Nice recording, with a lot of polish on this one. I can tell that you worked a lot on the composition.

Re: The Golden Bottom
Jonetsu, thank you for the detailed analysis!
Rainmak3r, nylon guitar was sounded with hardware sound module, and flute too. Electric guitar was played alive. Rondò Veneziano - I find here, now listening - fine! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ptSkxUNgTVw Thank you!
Milo, thank you for kind words!
P.S. This photo from my recent trip to the countryside by bicycle
