The landscape with the mill

Post by psyocean »

Hi, LinuxMusicians!
I composed and recorded the new instrumental guitar composition "The landscape with the mill". Just over a month I sawed it slowly... Even had stopping to clock in the room to pendulum did't knock :)

A pretty good piece, well-driven in the composition sense, with good tonal and musical developments. Well-balanced considering the use of acoustic/clean and distorted guitars. The theme is very good and well represented in all its incarnations throughout.

Cheers.

I think the composition is good, and I also like the arrangement, however you could improve the mix a bit :D

Thanks, I just discovered your work and like it a lot! It's... Relaxing? I'm not sure it's the right word, but it makes me feel better, as if everything in my life was easier than I thought.

I particularly love the acoustic arpeggio in the background in the first minute, and how the electric guitar plays on that: it reminds me of some brief instrumentals Malmsteen played in some older albums, good work!

Malmsteen is a great guru... I like adding few dissonant notes in arpegged chords... Thanks, Rainmak3r!
