My sister in law has been working on a Christmas video project all month, I offered to write a background soundtrack for it. It ended up being a medley of traditional Christmas carols and hymns, some well known and some obscure.

It turned out to be a fun little project. I used Ardour, LinuxSampler, Virtual Playing Orchestra, Maestro Concert Grand, a little bit of ZynAddSubFX (just doubling the first violins section to give a slightly more lush sound), and my fledgling Dragonfly Reverb.
Merry Christmas

Re: Merry Christmas
Oh, I really should have done that! The ringing sound is just the glockenspiel from Virtual Playing Orchestra. I was on a tight deadline, and December turned into kind of a crazy month for me, so I started with a template that I had made earlier and when ever I found a little time to work on it, I immediately set about recording or editing, so I didn't get around to adding a pipe chime track!42low wrote:Nice pall. Made with your home-made chimes?
