Hi.

New to these forums.

Just wondering if this is possible to run on linux.

There does not seem to be much news on this.

I believe very early versions have worked, however i am struggling to find them. It seems you can only get hold of the latest version.

Is there any programs that will run a windows program?

This looks great. However i needed pioneer rekordbox to use my pioneer controller. I believe only this program and virtual dj works with this controller. Or better still djay 2 or dj pro. Wonder if these would run through wine or similar programs?

The day that Mixxx can stand in for Recordbox for Pioneer equipment will be a super win for Linux audio in the arena of DJing. Very early days there still though.

Do you have any webpages mate? I would be interested in this. Also do you know if virtual dj 8 runs through wine? This can also be used on my controller unit

Ow man that is days ago. I do not know if i could find them back.
I found topics about it while searching for the simple "mixxx rekordbox" or "mixxx pioneer rekordbox". Perhaps you can find them yourself?

And i read them fast. They were talking about how to connect stuff and there where answers how to. That is why i say i do not know how far they came or even if they got it done at all.

Looks like basic Rekordbox support is coming in Mixxx 2.3.
