Running Adobe Audition 3.0 In Wine

Has anyone had luck running Adobe Audition 3.0 in Wine? I am running Ubuntu 18.04 64 bit, with Wine 3.10.0/Wine ASIO. Audition installs fine, but when I attempt to run it I get the following error:
Wine C++ Runtime Library
Program C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Audition 3.0\Audition.exe
abnormal program termination
I have verified that I have all required C++ libraries installed, and have uninstalled/reinstalled Audition. Does anyone have suggestions? Is it just not possible to run Audition in Wine? If not, that is OK. I know it will run in a VM, and I only use it occasionally, for a couple of tasks that Audacity can't handle. Running in Wine would be a lot more convenient, though.
