2 menu entries for ZynAddSubFX synth

Post by windowsrefund »

Hello,

I had the older version of ZynAddSubFX installed at one time but have since replaced it by compiling Zyn-Fusion. Now, when I add a new track and select Add Synth -> LV2 (synths), I see 2 entries for "ZynAddSubFX LV2". I know the top-most entry relates to the older version since the older UI comes up when I select "show native gui" and the bottom-most entry is related to Zyn-Fusion. Is there any way I can remove the top-most entry from the menu?

$ which zynaddsubfx
/usr/bin/zynaddsubfx
$ ls -l /usr/bin/zynaddsubfx
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 27 Aug 12 02:44 /usr/bin/zynaddsubfx -> /opt/zyn-fusion/zynaddsubfx
$ ls -l /usr/lib/lv2/ZynAddSubFX.lv2
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 31 Aug 12 02:44 /usr/lib/lv2/ZynAddSubFX.lv2 -> /opt/zyn-fusion/ZynAddSubFX.lv2
