Does anyone have any experience with Eventide stompboxes and controlling them via USB-MIDI?

I have a H9 unit, which does not show up on my system when I plug it in. This is from dmesg:

Guess it isn't class compliant?

How does the manufactured advise you to use it via Midi (i.e. does it need a Windows application/driver)? What do you want to do via midi? Send notes? Send control changes?

Turns out there was an issue with the cable! The device now shows up, and I can send CCs, which is what I wanted.
