Hi All,
I'm looking for something in the Radeon series for the new Ryzen computer I'm
having built. It doesn't have to be especially fast, but needs an up-to-date
driver.
Any suggestions?

Re: AMD graphics card
I have AMD R9 380X on my main rig that is designed for video games. My friend has AMD RX 560 which seems to be ok. Both use free amdgpu driver with proprietary firmware.
There are 2 bugs I found in free drivers: occasional freezes in games that are fixed by ctrl+alt+f1, ctrl+alt+f7 and segfaults in OpenCL code.

Re: AMD graphics card
Interesting.
I'm not a gamer, so that issue wouldn't be a problem. OpenCL I'm not certain about. I don't think any of my stuff uses it, but segfaults is rather a nasty one

Re: AMD graphics card
I haven't seen any free music software that uses OpenCL. I've encountered segfaults when developing my own synth.
