Has anyone gotten this audio interface to work with linux?
I'm trying to use it with AV-Linux (The PCI-Version of this card works flawlessly on my PC). FFADO should fully support the Phase 88 FW but I can't get the ffado Mixer or Jack to work with it.
Any Advise on this?

Re: Terratec Phase 88 FW
Hi there!
I assume you already set the more obvicious things (you are member of the groups audio, plug-dev, ...., rt-priority, ..., settings in qjackctl - firewire,...)
I am using a Terratec Phase 88 FW under Xubuntu 14.04.5 and it is fully supported since 10.04 or so.
The problem could be that after installing qt4-ffado-mixer, you have to give access rights to the python-script:
Open as sudo the file-manager and go to /usr/share/ffado-mixer-qt4/ffado/mixer and open "properties" with right mouse button of the file "phase88control.py" (see screenshot: https://servimg.com/view/12842335/63)
Good luck, Michael

Re: Terratec Phase 88 FW
Thank you, Michael!
I've tried your suggestion but it didn't work. I think I found the problem elsewhere though. When I try running ffado-dbus-server I get an error telling me that I need to update the firmware.
This is kind of tricky because I guess I'll have to find a windows XP machine with firewire on board now;)

Re: Terratec Phase 88 FW
Hi, when I run "ffado-dbus-server" the output is different. Does this help in anyway If it is a ffado issue it is better to post in ffado list (http://www.ffado.org/). The guys there are very competent and helpful!
