In my setup this sound card is contact with usb 2.0 port on asus x54c notebook with installated debian stretch 9 and ardour 5.5 . I bought a Lexicon Alpha last week and was happy to see it work out of the box. Seems to be a nice, inexpensive unit for simple recording. Haven't had a chance to give a critical ear to the preamp, but it is surely an improvement over my M-Audio Mobile Pre, blech.

I think the best would be to create special subforum called 'Success stories' where people explain how successful the device that they bought makes friendship with linux. That could allow to easy search devices that are compatible with Linux.
