I was given a Soundblaster X-Fi HD USB sound card. I am running Mint 17.2. I have the output working but I can't get the input working in Audacity or even to monitor it with the Sound Settings. Audacity shows several selections for the card under input selection, but none provide output and some cause the program to lock up.
Has anyone got this card to work with Linux? The ALSA list says it works but I am having no luck. Trying to follow some instructions on the ALSA website and I can't find the directory where the sound drivers are located.
