Zoom H1 - Pulseaudio does not see input channel, Jack does

Hi,

I'm now on kubuntu 14.04 and I got myself a Zoom H1 mobile recorder which with the 2.x firmware can also work directly as a USB audio device (1686:0045).
Funny thing is: Pulseaudio only detects the output channel, not the input channel. With Jack, both channels work without problems.
I have found several sources on the net which confirm that it works flawlessly also with PA in lower Ubuntu versions.
Anybody any idea how to fix that?
