Bitwig 8-Track has been updated! Login to your Bitwig account...

Post by glowrak guy »

Thankyou to all who made this possible!
No doubt some of the same people who chose
to open-source the Surge Synthesizer.
Cheers,

edit: registration is automatic for existing users,
after installing the 2.4 version,
login to your bitwig account from the Bitwig gui,
and it's done. No Native Access to be found!!!

Then you can choose to update the free content.

A new Bosendorfer-Light Grand Piano included.
Cheers

It should be painfully obvious from it's title, that this topic is directed
to Bitwig 8 Track owners.

"Login to your Bitwig account" seriously hints that
there will be an "updated" version of the linux Bitwig 8Track, (long awaited)
in one's account, and it's a commercial product for linux that is in the
marketplace forum where it belongs.

Please don't accuse me of clickbaiting until after
you have read and understood what is plainly communicated.
There isn't even a link provided to click...

Is it increasing electromagnetic radiations from the sun ? In the 60s British 'speculative fiction' writer Edmund Cooper wrote "All Fool's Day" on this subject.

Anyways, for the regular Bitwig, 2.4 was available recently. This time I participated in the beta leading to it. Second time. Although they say not to use betas for serious projects, I found there are no problems. Projects opened with a beta version cannot be opened back with the previous release though.

Even though the Bitwig team spent seemingly a lot on revamping their sampler, I still didn't really try it. This goes for their other instruments also. For some mysterious reason.

Don't know if I mentioned it, but the problem with MDrummer and Sample Tank 3 was that the MPE feature interface was activated.

Cheers.

I must say I do not understand the first four lines. Reads like a middle of a story without knowing what was written before. Strange.

And it so happens that I just got a few minutes ago an announcement from Bitwig about a new series of sampler tutorial videos:

Bitwig 8 Track was stuck at V1.3x for a long long time,
as developement of the full version moved forward.
Quite a few 8 Track users had asked when the
8 Track version would be updated, and the answer from Bitwig
was yes, at some point in the future.

That point arrived this week, and an email went out
to registered 8 Track users, that an update was available
in their Bitwig acccount. I just passed the news along
in the title:

"Bitwig 8-Track has been updated! Login to your Bitwig account..."

When an update to Yoshimi or Qtractor or Guitarix or any other
important linux audio software is created, someone usually announces it
by posting a topic with the most relevant part in the title.
