Using 5.1 for some time. As with many other Mixbus owners, NO email about it.
Legend has it that there is a notice about an update available being shown during Mixbus startup. Must be during those brief seconds when many people are not really looking at the (splash) screen and just waiting for Mixbus to be quickly available and go on with their work and/or choosing a session to load.
As a comparison, in Bitwig there's a small popup showing up announcing a new version. You can't miss it since it requires user interaction to close it.
