Real-time kernel for Raspbian Jessie

Post by Frank Carvalho »

Hi

Just in case noone noticed, there is a real-time kernel available for the RPi2 and 3 here: https://emlid.com/raspberry-pi-real-time-kernel/, and with more relevant informaton here: http://www.frank-durr.de/?p=203.

I installed this on my RPi2, and it seems to work fine, and supports the Pi touchscreen too. Be careful with the install procedure and do it exactly as described from inside the running Raspbian Jessie. At my first attempt I tried to update the SD, and ended up with an unbootable SD image.

Otherwise, this image seems to work fine after some tuning of the parameters.
