New woodwind sample library needs testing/demos

Post by d.healey »

Hello,

For the past couple of years I've been developing a woodwind sample library in HISE and it's finally ready for testing and demos. I already have testers for Mac and Windows but I would like a couple for GNU/Linux. I've compiled the plugin on Linux Mint so I expect it will work with any Ubuntu derived distro and possibly other Debian flavours, I'm not sure about other branches of the GNU/Linux family though.

If you would like an advanced copy and have the time in the next couple of weeks to test it and create a demo or two please send me a PM and a link to some samples of your work.

Thank you.

Is this going to be a commercial product?

Sure, I'll try it out! I can try to carve out some time to make a demo.

Thanks to everyone who has helped me out so far. I could do with a few people to try out the plugin on different distros and just let me know if it works. You can download the installer from here - https://github.com/davidhealey/librewav ... s/releases - this doesn't include the samples, just the VSTi and standalone app. It won't run on any Ubuntu based distro pre Ubuntu 18.04 (although the next release will be compatible back to Ubuntu 14.04).

The Libre Wave site has had a major reworking. New products added, and a site wide sale until August 28th.
