Looking at the FTP page for Hydrogen kits there is a 4A and 4B Black pearl kit. What is the difference please.

Hi,

The difference is in the snare drums, 4A has a double ply batter snare head and has a less 'crisp' sound, a bit lower pitch and a longer duration hit than 4B, it actually has similar character to some electronic snares. 4B is a bit snappier and more traditionally 'acoustic' sounding but sometimes 4A sits in a mix better, it all depends on what you're looking for. Other than that they are identical.

@Gmaq - I was playing with these tonight and found a bug in the sf2 black pearl 5 pc. the hat pedal close also triggers the low tom.
@ssj71

Well you were right about the mapping problem, unfortunately it affected all of the SFZ and SF2 kits (H2 kits are unaffected) not just the BP 5pc.. I found an error in the SFZ text files (prolly from my OCD-driven reformatting of them) and fixed them all and uploaded new fixed versions:

SFZ: http://bandshed.net/sounds/sfz/AVL_Drumkits_1.1-fix.zip
http://bandshed.net/sounds/sfz/AVL_Drum ... .1-fix.zip

SF2: http://bandshed.net/sounds/sf2/AVL-Drum ... ix-SF2.zip

The links on the AVL Drumkits webpage have also been updated. Sorry for the inconvenience :oops:

@FaTony

The license and Keymaps are now included in the SFZ bundles as well :wink:

Hi Musicians! Need your help.
The version 1.0 exist in format LV2. This plugin allow to load them in multi channel mode and to have audio dtracks for Kick/Snare/HH...
If I want to use version 1.1 in Ardour connecting outs to audio tracks for add some EQ/Comp to Kick/Snare, how can I do this?
