It sounds nice once I run it through TC Electronic M-One XL, although I kind of like to have the contrabass, cello, viola, and violin sections to be spread apart like in a concert hall.

After hearing how great these samples sound I decided to set up Transmission on my server to host the nbo torrent, but since I don't know the first thing about torrents I have no idea if it's working as expected. Any suggestions on how I can improve the visibility?

Also, I'm down to host other Linux-Musician related torrents if needed.

You had me all excited to try a new NBO, but that's the one from years ago. I guess that's why you said "newer" instead of "new".

Hi, guys I had to post a reply to this, Edirol Orchestral VST has always been free to use since the makers stopped funding it its now in the public domain and are free to download.

Are you sure it's public domain now? I didn't find an authoritative source for that.

Anyone tried it on linux?

I did, a long time ago, worked pretty good. I probably stopped using it since I didn't have a legitimate version.

Also, not being fluent in lawyer-speak, I'm sort of skeptical to the concept of stuff entering public domain if the rights holder has vanished. Very likely there is a rights holder -somewhere-, lurking.
