So I want to put tracks made with No Budget Orchestra to it's site. There were several pieces posted by Jeff G:

Re: NBO showcase
I'm going to redo the demos. A lot of the instruments have improved since then.
I'm finishing up an overhaul of the mappings to make all instruments use the Sound Variation controller to switch articulations. This will make it possible to load the entire orchestra, with all articulations, into 1 instance of linuxsampler or sforzando using only 16 midi channels. This means you can play the whole orch live from 1 midi controller.

Re: NBO showcase
I think orchestra has more than 16 instruments. For my etude 7 I've used about ~20.
Re: NBO showcase
I'm not counting all the percussion. Also, since many NBO instruments have extended range, for example the clarinets cover both alto and bass, oboes cover english horn, I don't count the permutations separately.FaTony wrote:I think orchestra has more than 16 instruments.
