Drumgizmo loading problem in Ardour

Post by cooltehno »

Hello!
Does anybody have the same problem with Drumgismo in Ardour? I use Ardour 4.7.0 in KXStudio 14.04. I've already made few drum midi parts for Drumgizmo LV2. These sessions worked well, but few days ago I've upgraded Drumgizmo from standard KX repository to version, I suppose, 0.9.10 (I used "sudo apt-get upgrade" command). Now I can't open sessions with Drumgizmo tracks. Also try to add Drumgizmo plugin to empty midi track - Ardour crushes.
How can I return the previous version or Drumgizmo?
I'm not so skilled Linux user, can I use"sudo apt-get remove", "sudo apt-get install" commands for this?
Or may be someone has a link to .deb file of Drumgizmo old versions?
Or any spescial ppa for Drumgizmo?
Or any other suggestion?
(Must tell I am not able to compile applications in Linux - have no knowledge).
Thanks!

Finely I found the .deb file of Drumgizmo v.0.9.8.1 here:

https://launchpad.net/~kxstudio-debian/ ... ld/7107796

.. and my Ardour's session are working now.

I'm not sure what is going on but I tried Drumgizmo 0.9.10 in Ardour 4.7 on kxstudio 14.04 and have no problems.
