drumkv1 various velocity samples
I've been making nice drums patterns through drumkv1 and I'm very happy with it but I was wondering if it is possible to load multiple samples with different intense velocity into one note? as I have drum samples in which they come with like 10 different files for a snare or tom.

Re: drumkv1 various velocity samples
drumkv1 does NOT implement velocity layers--it's one note/key, one sample, one velocity curve and sensitivity.
choose wisely which sample to map on each drumkv1 note/key element and abuse of its other modulation parameters
you can however try to chain several drumkv1 instances each with it's own set of samples and velocity sensitivity (DEF/Velocity) and emulate velocity layers articulation, with the (maybe) interesting advantage to have separate modulation parameters per so called layer (instance).

Re: drumkv1 various velocity samples
It's probably the simplest approach to create an sfz file that maps the samples to velocity ranges and play them with Carla or Linuxsampler.
With drumkv1 you might assign the samples to different notes and
- program your patterns/midi clips appropriately
or
- do some magic (velocity to note) with midifilter plugins. I never tried this and don't know if it's possible.
