Confirm that the file is there and marked executable.

To avoid this error you could go to the menu -> plugins -> LADSPA/LV2 plugins, and deselect Mono Amp.

So then it looks like you've deinstalled/lost it somehow.
However, you could open the file ~/.config/guitarix/ladspa_defs.js and remove the line:

Code: Select all

["/usr/lib/ladspa/amp.so", 0, 1048, "amp_mono"]
take care, when it is the last line in this file, remove the coma "," from the line before as well, otherwise just remove this line.
Alternative you could delete the file completely, but that means you lost all external effects, you need to select them new after a restart of guitarix.
On the road again.

I removed guitarix, deleted the folder ~/.config/guitarix and reinstalled -> working :D
