Re: New GxCreamMachine.lv2
Cream Machine is working perfectly , it is the shit man! I absolutely love it. PS: Is it possible to replace the EL34's with KT88's? I looked up on the code but I couldn't find anything regarding the EL34's, only the 12ax7's.
Thanks a lot as always!
Cheers,
Rodney

Nice to hear that, thanks man.Rodney wrote:Cream Machine is working perfectly , it is the shit man!
The naming of the table may be a bit misleading, as it is the response of the circuit, not only the 12ax7 tubes. At the time I've done the CreamMachine, the dkbuilder wasn't full featured for that, as it is now. So I've done a lot by hand, which is now fully automated.Rodney wrote:PS: Is it possible to replace the EL34's with KT88's? That said, the EL34 is included in the table called 12ax7.
So, when you love this plug, why should I change tube's?
I've the specs for the KK88 and could do that, but, I really wouldn't change the CreamMachine.
I could do a other one, with KK88's.
But, by now, I'm playing with the 6V6GT, which is a really nice tube, much nicer then the 6V6 in my opinion.
On the road again.

Re: New GxCreamMachine.lv2
The cream machine is really cool.
I combine it with a tube-screamer and a treble-booster and get a really nice creamy lead-sound.
Also this reduces my problems with guitarix not being an lv2-plugin. The cream machine is a complete amp (right? With cabinet simulation, if I understood correctly) which needs only a few pedals in addition to get a nice sound!
I had planned to record a demo of it, but then got problems with my general setup. Maybe this evening.

That will be very welcome, I love to hear what people do with this plugins.Musicteacher wrote:I had planned to record a demo of it, but then got problems with my general setup. Maybe this evening

Here a quick demo of the first solo in "comfortably numb":

(Cream machine with tube-screamer before it). When I first heard the cream machine, I thought "that's the sound for comfortably numb first solo, that's why I played it, even if I should practice more!)

Not really. This is what I get, as almost everybody else on the forum:Musicteacher wrote:Here a quick demo of the first solo in "comfortably numb":

Re: New GxCreamMachine.lv2
Ok, sorry, I'll sort that out!
The problem is that the box-player cannot play ogg-files. I have re-uploaded now as mp3, I hope it works! The link above now points to the new file.

Re: New GxCreamMachine.lv2
Just out of curiosity, I really like it with EL34's no doubt about it . I am trying to find the best fit to use with the GxJcm800pre .
