I'm in the process of stocking up a Carla session with keyboard plugins I use/might use, regularly. I think it will be useful to launch when I'm writing, being able to quickly switch midi channels to quickly access a bunch of different sounds.
One instrument I love and use occasionally is Aeolus. Has this ever been ported as a plugin, or is it still just standalone? I guess if it's only standalone there's no way to get it to show up in Carla is there?

Re: Aeolus plugin
ya, you can use Non-Session Manager or Ladish for session management, but you can't open it directly in carla. That would be a good one for a plugin, but nobody's done it. The author had some bad reactions when some of his other plugins were ported sloppily so I think a lot of devs have shied away from porting his excellent projects.

Re: Aeolus plugin
Aoelus is only a standalone so it will not work with carla. Unfortunately the aoelus author thinks poorly of the lv2 plugin standard so thats one reason its has never been made into a plugin. As far as I can see the source code is GPL so someone else could do it.
