I just noticed something a little funny in the guis with the power switches.* In that what seems to be being 'in bypass' enabled mode by the color indicators, it's actually in enabled mode, but not reflected as such in the channel strip. It displays there as being in, off/bypass mode.

The attached images are of gx_bottlerocket, but same holds true for the others as well ...

This is a relative new feature in LV2, so most Host's wont support it for now. Unfortunately I cant see the images you've posted, so I don't know which host you talk about. As far I know, for now, only the latest ardour from git support this. Other host's will just see it as "a controller".
