SetBfree - how to always load my cfg file

Post by paul »

Hello! Lately I really like working with SetBfree, and I made my own custom cfg file. How do I "tell" SetBfree to always load that one?
(Btw, if it's relevant, most of the time I lauch it with Carla, from different Carla project files.)
Thanks.

Ditto for me. I've been wondering the same thing. I also launch setBfree from Carla, and there it seems to load the default every time.

Hey. Here is a workaround: copy and paste inside the Carla file the controllers you need for SetBfree, as you would write them in the configuration file, with a C at the beginning. It sucks but it works!

Hey! I get to be the RTFM guy.

From the man page
At startup 'default.cfg' and 'default.pgm' in $XDG_CON‐
FIG_HOME/setBfree/ (default: $HOME/.config/setBfree/) are are
evaluated if the files exist, unless '--noconfig' or '--nopro‐
gram' options are given. An additional config or program file
can be loaded using the '-c' and '-p' option respectively.
